Every third week of October, the Australian Water Association organises National Water Week and makes a splash across Australia. This year, Nylex is proud to be a major partner of the Australian Water Association, inspiring individuals, communities and organisations to build awareness around the value of water. Access to clean water is hugely important to our daily lives, and it’s down to all of us to protect our water environments and resources, and use water wisely. The theme for 2020 is Reimagining our Water Future.
“As one of the driest populated continents on earth, Australia’s freshwater resources are under pressure to meet the demands of a changing climate and growing population,” says Corinne Cheeseman, CEO of Australian Water Association. “It’s up to every Australian to do their bit to ensure water is being used sustainably and efficiently in and around the home. Making simple changes and taking easy steps will help reduce water consumption, decrease water bills, and protect our precious water resources,” adds Corinne.
